LENCO L75


Not much to say yet. I builded this plinht in a rush in about two evenings. The deck it self has been in family for ages. First it belonget to my farher, who bougt it around same time when I was born in 1975. I've been using it in it's stock configuration since 1990's. I have big plans for this one. A new tone arm (either diy unipivot or rega rb-250). Total weight with new plint is 18kg. Here some pics:



10.8.2006:Fitted the Rega RB250 (and some finnish to the surface too). Major upgrade. With stock Lenco arm the timign was totally wrong. Worst record was Depeche Mode Violator / Enjoy the silence. Sounded like the 50 % of the band were half a second behind in rythm.



I fitted the arm as deep as i could by removing the plastic collar from the base. This lowers VTA approx 4-5mm.



Hole for elevator mechanism.



Future plans: Either active, FET based MC=> MM amp or transformer fitted right in the base directly to the arms internal (upgaded) wires.
